고교 물리 선택 이수와 입시전형에 따른 공학계열 대학 신입생의 물리 학업성취도 비교-2017년 C 대학교 공과대학 신입생을 중심으로-

초록
The purpose of this study is to investigate the difference in the achievement of general physics according to the selection of high school physics course and college admission type such as ‘high school GPA’, ‘admission officer’, ‘essay’, and ‘SAT’. We collected students’ general physics scores during a year. The results of this study were as follows: First, the students who completed both Physics 1 and Physics 2 had the highest scores in general physics. On the other hand, students who did not select Physics 1 or Physics 2 during the high school curriculum had consistently under-performed during the first year of a college. There was no statistically significant difference between the general physics scores by admission type of college entrance. Based on these results, it was suggested that the improvement of college general physics curriculum for students who did not choose Physics 1 or Physics 2 and the necessity of differentiated curriculum reflecting the characteristics of freshmen due to the difference of admission type.
