As global technology competition intensifies, research security has become a key issue in national R&D policy and research institution governance. This study examines domestic research trends in research security by combining bibliometric analysis and topic modeling. A total of 55 domestic papers published between 2009 and 2026 were analyzed, and LDA topic modeling was applied to a core sample of 35 journal articles. Publications notably increased after 2021, with management and evaluation studies accounting for the largest share. Five topics were identified: R&D project evaluation and security classification, international regulatory comparison, university research environments and researcher awareness, technology protection and leakage prevention, and technology management and export control. These findings indicate that domestic research security discourse has expanded from institutional design to research practice, researcher behavior, technology protection, and international risk management.
