중학교 체육교사와 학교스포츠클럽강사의 감정노동 및 감정적 탈진 차이 비교

초록

This study aimed to compare the level of emotional labor and emotional exhaustion between middle school physical education (PE) teachers and school sports club instructors. The data were collected from 371 participants in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do area (220 PE teachers and 151 sport instructor). The study included three hypotheses. Hypothesis 1 speculated that PE teachers should have higher frequencies of deep acting compared to sport club instructors. The second hypothesis assumed that sport club instructors should have more frequencies of surface acting compared to their counterpart. The third hypothesis indicated that sport club instructors have higher level of emotional exhaustion than PE teachers. A confirmatory factor analysis and MANOVA were used to test the hypotheses. The first two hypotheses regarding emotional labor were not supported in that there was no significant group difference. The third hypothesis was not supported. PE teachers showed higher level of emotional exhaustion compared to sport club instructors.
