초록
Art is a pursuit of beauty. But art has another goal which is a kind of Zen. Repetitions and immersion in artistic actions can relieve complex thoughts and stress. The overall process of making artworks is considered as widely professional and experience-based job but some part of art is not so complicated. It means that making artworks contains simple repetitions of specific actions. Nowadays, some products are emerging which focusing on these characteristics of art. Therefore these products don’t require some professional or experienced artistic senses but only several instructions lead such repetitions. Thanks to this trend, Zen-based arts such as Tibetan Buddhism's mandala and Zentangle were introduced in the media. String art is a Zen-like artistic expression style and at the same time has mathematical elements. String art is an expression that continuously connects threads in a certain space to obtain certain geometric patterns or shapes, which was first developed with the aim of achieving emotional stability, but has become an element used by many artists in modern times. In virtual environments such as games, many people often perform artistic acts. In this paper, we looked up the example of an algorithmization of expression forms. We presented that the algorithm can be applied to make new expression forms, and reconstructed them to play a role as an interface in application. It has also shown that it can simulate the aesthetic and performing art's functions in the virtual environment.
