초록

The purpose of this study is to play a basic role in determining the direction of the liberal arts curriculum for international students by analyzing the contents of research on the university liberal arts curriculum for international students. Research related to the liberal arts curriculum suitable for the purpose of this study was selected and trends were analyzed by searching for keywords such as “International Student Liberal Arts”, “University Academic Purpose Korean” in RISS. According to research trends by period, various discussions have developed since 2016 after papers related to the liberal arts process of international students were published in 2010. From 2020, the amount of research has increased in earnest. Discussions on non-face-to-face, online classes, and metaverse appeared. Research on the development of liberal arts courses was the most active by subject. Through demand analysis, it was found that the liberal arts course of international students needs various approaches as 'culture'. Research on the liberal arts process of international students is on the rise, showing that interest in the liberal arts of international students is increasing. It is time to establish a liberal arts system for international students so that appropriate liberal arts education can be provided to international students.
