A Study on the Effect of Road Requirements at Fire Point on Fire Response : Based on the case of Seoul Metropolitan Government

초록

Purpose: This study aims to investigate the effect of road and space characteristics at the point of fire on fire dispatch time. Method: Multiple regression analysis was performed using the time required for dispatch as a dependent variable by linking the city's fire and dispatch records with GIS-based road and land use data. Result: Only 30% of the dispatch was made within the golden time (300 seconds), and network distance from fire stations and 119 safety centers, access to upper roads, and blind spots and slopes had a significant impact on the dispatch time. Conclusion: The road and space structure at the point of fire occurrence is the key to securing golden time, and it is necessary to reflect the fire response perspective in the relocation of fire infrastructure, road networks, and maintenance of old residential areas.
