생태적 전환과 기본소득에 대한 고찰 : 청년 생태활동가의 인식을 중심으로

A Study on Ecological Transformation and Basic Income : Focusing on the Perceptions of Young Ecological Activists

초록

This study is to scrutinize the meaning of insisting on basic income as commons wealth dividends within the discourse of ecological transformation. For the analysis, a case study was conducted targeting youth activists who are already living an ecological life. First, as a result of analyzing the relationship between ecological transformation and basic income, where basic income come across ecological life were expectations of expanding the autonomy of symbiosis, the concept of work from economic value to ecological and social ones, and sustaining self-sufficient life. At the same time, concerns were raised about the potential for basic income to stimulate a consumer society. Second, although participants endorsed the desirability of common wealth dividends, they opposed the natural commons dividends that would destroy and commercialize natural resources. Within the degrowth perspective that setting ecological limits is indispensable within a finite planet, the basic income supported. Through this study, it shed light on that the basic income as common wealth dividends can be ecological because it would summon the value of ‘commoning’, but its ecological value can be dismissed when it leans toward ‘dividends’ without reflecting on the value of sharing.
