G-TELP 영어 능력 평가 검사 문법 영역의 신뢰도와 타당도 분석

This study set out to test the reliability and validity of the G-TELP Level Test, which is used in official English evaluations and examinations. The study used the Rasch model to analyze the areas of grammar. The subjects consisted of 500 individuals that took the G-TELP Level Test and were selected through random sampling. Their responses were used in the analysis. The findings are summarized as follows. First, the grammar section showed a positively skewed distribution with a high inter-item consistency reliability score of 0.819. The analysis of individual items in fitness showed that most items were adequate at discriminating the abilities of the subjects. Second, reliability analysis showed that the test was at an appropriate level. The validity analysis revealed that the test items were adequate at discriminating the ability distribution of the subjects. The study analyzed the individual items and found that no items were unfit. Based on the research results, the analysis of listening and reading comprehension area should be conducted.
