Orthogonal time-frequency space (OTFS) modulation is a promising option for its capability of integrated sensing and communication in high-mobility scenarios. However, the high computational complexity (CC) of the OTFS receiver is required to detect target signals with severe inter-carrier interference and inter-symbol interference. Therefore, we propose a low-complexity matched filter for the OTFS radar by considering three search modes for target detection in delay-Doppler (DD) domain: 1) total search to detect target with long delay and high Doppler frequency shift, 2) partial search for fast computation, 3) dense-grid partial search to reduce the straddle loss which occurs due to mismatch in target parameters and DD grid. By using the partial fast Fourier transform, CC of the proposed methods is significantly reduced compared to the conventional MF. In addition, the simulation with the proposed dense-grid partial search results in enhanced probability of detection, showing the trade-off between computations and radar performance.
