The population concentration in the Capital region is one of critical issues in Korea. To solve this problems related to imbalanced regional development in Korea, it is necessary to analyze the spatial structure in non-metropolitan area. However, there are only a few studies on analyzing the spatial structure in Busan and Ulsan metropolitan as the second largest economic metropolitan. Thus, this study applied the social network theory to analyze the centrality change in Busan and Ulsan metropolitan area and found out factors affecting the centrality from 2010 to 2020. The result of this study are summarized as follows; First, the inter-regional linkage in Busan and Ulsan metropolitan has increased for 10 years. Second, it is found that centricality of Busan has increased in Busan and Ulsan metropolitan area. Third, the population, the Busan area, the FIRE industry, and the information and communication industry variables have a significant impact on the centrality enhancement in Busan and Ulsan metropolitan. Findings can provide important implications for spatial policy of Busan and Ulsan metropolitan to coping with the network between cities in the future.
