위험판단의 비합리적 성향 : 뉴스 기사의 피해자 규모 제시방법과 대처 효능감이 낙관적 편향에 미치는 영향

초록
In this study, we tried to examine the interactive influence of news frame and response efficacy on optimistic bias. For that purpose, we conducted an experiment in which a total of 280 college students participated. Results show that how the size of risk casualties was expressed influenced the size of optimistic bias and that response efficacy moderated such influence. These results imply that individuals’ risk judgment is not necessarily rational but can be affective and heuristic. Especially, individuals with low response efficacy were more sensitive to the way risk information was framed.
