석유화학업체의 플랜트 입지 선정의 중요성에 대한 연구

초록

Plant location selection is a decision which requires huge investment and entails a significant impactin a longer-term. The petrochemical industry, in particular, is so capital- and technology- intensivethat the firms in the industry pursue enhancing competitiveness through collaboration andintegration among entities in their supply chains. Even though the logistics factor such as logisticscosts and connectivity have, as a result, gained its importance in plant location decision making,this has rarely studies in empirical studies. Therefore, this study aims to examine the relative importanceof the logistics factor in plant location decision making in the petrochemical industry usingthe multi-criteria decision-making approach. In addition the three representative petrochemicalindustrial complexes are evaluated by the factors used in this study. This study is able to provide the useful implication in both practical and policy-making aspects. Firms are required to consider the logistics factors with priority compared to other factors in plantlocation decision making. In addition, when federal or local governments build industrial sites andattract the petrochemical firm, logistics infrastructure should also be considered to provide bettertransportation connectivity and lower logistics costs in turn. This study aims at analyzing the influencesof Certification of Green Logistics Company on performance and suggesting the implications. Based on previous studies which were related to certificate system of green logistics company andlogistics performance, this study established research model and hypothesis, and surveyed the employeeswho worked in the field of logistics. To analyze the data, factor analysis, reliability analysis,confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation model were applied.
