성인 대상의 국내 경력적응성 연구에 관한 체계적 문헌고찰

A Systematic Literature Review of Domestic Career Adaptability Research Targeting Adults

초록

This study systematically analyzed research trends on career adaptability conducted in South Korea, focusing on adult populations. A total of 117 studies were collected through a systematic literature review, and their general characteristics, participant profiles, thematic focuses, and research methods were examined. The analysis revealed the following findings. First, most domestic studies on career adaptability have focused on university students, with relatively few studies targeting adults. Second, many studies adopted a generalized approach without differentiating by gender, age, or employment type, while tailored research on specific groups was limited. Third, the concept of ‘career adaptability’ was translated and used in various ways, resulting in a lack of consistency in terminology. Fourth, most studies employed quantitative, empirical methods, with career adaptability primarily treated as a dependent variable. Based on these results, the study highlights the need to diversify research participants, standardize terminology, broaden methodological approaches, and develop measurement tools suitable for the Korean context. Practical implications are also proposed, including enhancing individual career adaptability, establishing organizational support systems, and linking career adaptability to national labor market policies.
