한·러 미술 교류의 역사와 과제

초록

This study is designed to find out the history and flow of Korean-Russian artistic exchange for the past 30 years. Starting at the time when the 88 Seoul Olympic Game was held, the Korean-Russian Arts Exchange became more substantial after 1990 when Korea and USSR established a formal diplomatic relation. From that time on, the Russian art exhibitions of various types and genres have been introduced to the Korean people and therefore, Korean arts have slowly gotten away from Western European arts in terms of exhibition trends. In addition, now in the Korean arts market, not only various kinds of Russian arts exhibition, special exhibition, exchange exhibition and solo exhibitions are held but also Russian artists steadily participate in the international arts festivals held in Korea to show the diversified Russian arts to Koreans. So, this study will check the performance, meanings and aspects of the arts exchange which have been done up to now and try to find out some problems and solutions which should be developed for the desirable direction in the future exchange and relation.
