코로나19 전후 중학생의 학습몰입이 학업성취에 미친 영향 분석

초록

This study was conducted with the purpose of confirming whether the change in the learning engagement of middle school students before and after COVID-19 had an effect on the change in the educational achievement. To this end, the 「National Assessment of Educational Achievement(NAEA)」 data in 2019 and 2020 were sampled 1:1 using propensity score matching so that the student characteristics of the two years were as similar as possible, and then t-test, χ2 test, and logistic regression analysis were performed. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that there was a decrease in learning engagement among middle school students in the COVID-19 situation, and this decrease in learning engagement had an effect on the decrease in the educational achievement. Based on the findings, policy implications for improving students' learning engagement in a non-face-to-face environment were presented.
