초록

The steel and metal materials industry also has considerably higher carbon emissions than other industries. Since the steel and metal industry is a carbon-intensive industry, it is important to try to reduce carbon emissions during the process, but ultimately, it is clear that the best solution and goal is to supply electricity through renewable energy. In this paper, based on the energy data trends of actual plating companies, a virtual plating company was designated and the total electricity data for one month was analyzed, and 1) The energy saving rate was calculated assuming that solar power is supplied to the refrigerator and heater, which consume the most electricity. 2) Considering that the usage fluctuates in a three-day cycle, if more electricity is used than usual, the required solar power and energy saving rate were calculated by taking the average of the difference between the maximum and minimum values of each section. Although it was calculated in a simple manner, it is expected that renewable energy can be utilized more precisely and effectively in the future, and if integrated with ESS, it is expected to complement the intermittent characteristics of renewable energy. © 2024 IEEE.
