학부 유학생의 한국어 어문규범 인식 양상: 한글맞춤법 강의 사례를 대상으로
초록
This study examines the perception of Korean language norms among international undergraduate students who do not speak Korean as their mother tongue, and proposes a reformulation of Korean orthography lectures as a liberal arts course. The study found that students who attended the lecture were able to go beyond a basic understanding of linguistic norms. Additionally, the study identified difficult or highly interesting topics related to spelling, such as the first sound initial law, saishiot, and abbreviations. Based on these findings, this study suggests that lectures on orthography have the potential to become comprehensive liberal arts courses with a focus on Korean language culture that go beyond a simple language course. Therefore, students must be taught not only how to examine and critically understand Korean orthography, but also to use digital tools such as spelling checkers and generative AI. The content of orthography lectures must be systemized in this direction.
