한국 푸드시스템의 현황과 발전과제

초록

In the 21'st century, market liberalization has expanded all over the world. Especially, Agricultural sector has been mostly affected from the market liberalization. Korean agricultural has suffered from decreasing competitiveness and income. So far Korean government policy for agriculture has focused on production side. However, ways to solve the agricultural problems in korea should be managing demand side for agricultural products rather than supply side. Increasing demands for agricultural products can result from bolstering to link food industry and agriculture. Agricultural development from these linkages needs changes in agricultural policies to food system oriented agricultural policy. Food system includes agricultural producers, commodity merchants, food processors and manufacturers, food service, food wholesalers and retailers.In this study, situations of Korean food system were introduced and analyzed to suggest development strategies for food system with a purpose of agricultural development through linkage of food industry and agricultural sectors.
