국내 중고등학생에게 적용된 에이즈 예방교육의 방법과 효과 분석

초록

This study aimed to confirm the effects of AIDS prevention education for middle and high school students. Therefore, through a literature review process it was conducted to analyze 11 papers about AIDS prevention education for middle and high school students in Korea. The most common form of studies on AIDS prevention education was those given by the professional instructor only once, tailored for adolescent students in Seoul and its vicinity in Korea. After education, all of the 11 studies showed the increase in the knowledge level about AIDS, and eight of them appeared to increase attitude. However, there was no study to evaluate behavior change with condom use. Besides lecture, action-centered education, social drama, education and public relations done by peer groups, all of which were more effective in changing knowledge and attitude than lecture. This study suggested that schools should provide students with AIDS prevention education, utilizing a variety of educational methods, in order to help the students gain knowledge conducive to healthy behavior on the stage of middle and high school.
