해외 제조사업장 기술 유출 위험요인 분석연구

초록

With increasing international expansion of domestic companies in various forms, the technology leakage risks have become more diverse. This study focuses on the manufacturing industry, which includes a number of national core technologies and holds high importance in terms of industrial technology protection and overseas subsidiaries, a form of international expansion. While the issue is crucial in the industry, related studies are outdated and limited in number to understand current security risks in manufacturing industry overseas subsidiaries. Therefore, this study adopts a mixed-method approach, combining quantitative research through literature analysis with qualitative research using Focus Group Interviews (FGI) involving employees with experience in manufacturing industry overseas subsidiaries. It aims to design a risk model with pre- and post-entry processes as well as different stakeholders by identifying current security risks and propose countermeasures. In future research, we intend to conduct statistical validation of the technology leakage risks designed in this study. Subsequently, we aim to derive countermeasures for validated risks to design a security management system. We anticipate the result of this study can be used by overseas-expanding (or intending to expand) companies that recognize the importance of technology protection to identify security risks at different stages and among various stakeholders.
