중고생 청소년의 알코올 남용의 심각성 정도에 영향을 미치는 요인비교: CRAFFT 선별도구 2점과 3점을 기준으로

초록

The purpose of this study was to confirm factors associated with alcohol consumption, binge drinking, alcohol abuse among youth in Korea, and to examine factors influencing degree of alcohol abuse. This was done to lay a ground for alcohol-related intervention programs for youth in general. Study sample consisted of 1,227 middle and high school students throughout Korea. Survey questionnaires were used to collect data. Findings of the study indicated positive alcohol expectancies, peer drinking, and exposure to alcohol-related media were predictive factors of alcohol consumption. These three factors were also found to be related to binge drinking. Third, gender, positive expectancy, peer alcohol consumption predicted alcohol abuse. When higher level of alcohol abuse was examined, gender. positive and negative expectancy, peer drinking, and media exposure were found to be predictive factors. Implications for alcohol problem intervention plans were discussed.
