극장 개념의 확장과 사이트의 재편 양상 - 퍼포먼스 디자인 관점에서

초록

Postulating the performance design as frame work, this paper aims to examine how conventions of theater space are being displaced, repurposed and renewed in the so-called era of trans-media. Crossing over on/off, front/back stage, the collaborative acts of theater-making are dynamically explored and reconfigured within each production situation. Here, the preconceived delineation between black/white box, creator/spectators, production/reception, arts/non-arts, leisure/work, private/public, real/virtual etc. are dissolved and its spatial-role linkage redefined: art production as a set of protocols or an apparatus performs as a communal platform for the participant in search of sense of belongings and solidarity. In this contexts, the production participants as system users or players are postulated as collective actors who unveil, unstabilize, deterritoalize and redistribute hegemony of any given site. Here, The very culture of user oriented social networking and sharing becomes the driving force of the exformation and reformation of the socio-spatial reality.
