공론화 과정 참여자들의 숙의 경험 - 프레임 분석의 적용 -

초록

Deliberative polling provides an effective aid for conflict management enhancing deliberative democracy. In particular, it contributes to awakening the core values of democracy through consultations with citizens on policy issues. As a quasi-experiment, deliberative polling applies rigorous social science methodology for deliberation process. This study explored experiences of the citizen representatives who participated in the deliberative polling about the construction of Shingori 5･6 nuclear power plants. It analyzed cognitive frames of the citizen participants through frame analysis with topic modeling technique. It found key frames that constitute experiences of the participants. The results provide important implications for public participation in deliberative democracy.
