초등학교 고학년의 성격강점 군집유형에 따른교사-학생 관계 및 학교적응

초록

This study was to examine the characteristics of student groups according to their character strengths types along with teacher-student relationship and school adjustment. The subjects were 581 upper elementary school students from 6 elementary schools in Seoul, Korea. Hierarchical cluster analysis showed that students were classified into three groups(i. e., high, medium, and low levels of character strengths group(CSG)) based on the degrees of character strengths(i. e., wisdom, humanity, courage, temperance, justice, transcendence) Findings showed that the ‘high level of CSG’ students had better relationship with their teacher than the ‘medium level of CSG’ or ‘low level of CSG’. And ‘high level of CSG’ students had better school adjustment than the ‘medium level of CSG’ or ‘low level of CSG’. The results of this study can be used as the background information for developing character strength-based positive education program.
