장애아동 발달주기별 가족지원서비스 만족도와 서비스 욕구에 관한 연구

초록

This study investigates degree of satisfaction with services and needs of families with disabled children in order to look at effective ways of supporting disabled children and their families according to their developmental course. The subjects were 237 parents of disabled children who were using disability-related services. For analysis, the domain of family support services are divided into five sub-domains: care services, educational services, social services, family services, community service. The results show that there are significant differences in satisfaction degree of and preference for specified family support services along the child's developmental course. In the case of the family with disabled infants,satisfaction of parent education program is high in educational services,peer support programs in social services, and sibling programs in family services. For the family with school-aged child, the needs of parent and family education program is higher than other services. In the case of the family with young-adult child, the satisfaction with and needs of community services, especially in relation to mobility services. Based upon research findings, this study suggests that effective services concerning disabled child's developmental course should be further developed and expanded. It also suggests that individualized service plans and case management system need to be developed for meeting diverse and complex needs of families with disabled children.
