초록
Although basic psychological needs have been identified as variables that predict motivation and intent to participate in sports science, including golf, they have shown inconsistent results with low predictive power. In this study, the relative ability and accuracy of the basic psychological needs to predict golf participation will be verified, and the possibility of use as a predictor of golf participation (continued) action will be presented. To achieve the purpose of the research, 536 amateur golfers were selected. The collected data used the R-programming 3.6.0 version to calculate the mean and standard deviation, performed a confirmatory factor analysis, reliability analysis, and multiple regression analysis, and verified the relative explanatory power of the explanatory variables and the predictive accuracy of the regression model. The analysis shows that the autonomy, competence and relationship of basic psychological needs have a positive influence on the continuance intention in golf with 81.3 percent of the explanation. The explanatory power is as follows. relationships (39 %), autonomy (32.1%), and competence (28.9%). Third, cross validation was carried out to check the accuracy of the basic psychological desire to predict golf participation. The R2 rate of change was very small at 0.5%, and the accuracy of the regression model was verified. In summary, basic psychological needs should be used as significant explanatory variables to predict golf players' continuous behavior.
