허난설헌 <궁사(宮詞)>의 정서 표출 양상 고찰

초록

This paper aimed to examine the expression of the multi-layered emotions revealed in the work targeting the 20 poems of Heo Nanseolheon, the only female writer of <Gungsa> in Korea. In this work, there are two emotional subjects: the palace maid who acts as the poetic speaker and the poet Heo Nanseolheon who exists beyond the poetic speaker. The former exhibits superficial emotions while the latter reveals the hidden emotions. First of all, as a result of analyzing the 20 works and examining the surface emotional expression, 14 showed positive emotions, such as envy, pride, or joy of play, and the remaining six expressed negative emotions of the court lady's loneliness and exhaustion. On the other hand, it was confirmed that all 20 works consistently revealed only negative emotions, with 12 works showing lamentation about their situation, and the other 8 works showing loneliness as a gyubang woman. When viewed superficially, Heo Nanseolheon's <Gungsa> can be seen as a representation of the positive aspects of court life, but upon confirming its underlying meaning, it was revealed that the 20 works of <Gungsa> were songs sung by Heo Nanseolheon in a closed space called the palace. Despite her talent, she was not recognized and had to live a lonely life in the gyubang. Therefore, <Gungsa> represents the pain of Heo Nanseolheon, who had to borrow the closed space of the palace to sing her songs. At the same time, unlike <Gungsa>, which was written by contemporary male writers, only expresses the emotions of envy and longing in a romantic way, she took a step further from there and saw it as a characteristic of <Gungsa> of Heo Nanseolheon.
