어포던스에 대한 어린이집 교사들의 인식 및 현장 활용사례 분석 연구

초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the perception and use cases of daycare center teachers on the application of affordance in the daycare center field in order to realize an autonomous and leading curriculum for children. To this end, in-depth interviews were conducted with eight daycare center teachers. The results of the study are as follows. First, the study participants recognized that affordance would be of great help to children’s leading participation in play, play immersion, play expansion, and support for healthy and safe daily life. It also believed that affordance will be able to support the growth of all children. Second, in the use of affordance in daycare centers, physical affordance is used more than cognitive affordance, and the flow of action that is supported by functional affordance and sensory affordance considering the development and characteristics of children is the most used. These results indicate that the study participants have a positive perception of the application of affordance in the field, and there is a strong possibility of using affordance in the field. This study is significant as it provides basic data on the direction of implementing an affordance environment that seeks specific measures for the efficient application of affordance in daycare centers and supports the autonomous development of children in childhood education institutions.
