유형별 창조계층의 임금에 영향을 미치는 고용 및기업특성요인 비교분석

Recently, the importance of the creative class is increasing as the industrial structure changes to the knowledge economy of technology base. Although there has been a growing interest in the role of the creative class in the knowledge-based economy, there are only a few studies about wage differentials related to the creative class. The purpose of this study is to analyze the wage gap between the creative class and micro determinants that affect the wage of creative class. The main results are as follows; first, the wage of the creative class is higher than that of the non creative class. Second, there are wage differentials by type of the creative class. The wage of super-creative core is the highest, followed by the creative professionals and art creative class. Although the wages of the entire creative class are higher than those of the non-creative class, the wages of art creative are lower than the wage of non-creative class. Third, there are differences in the factors that affect the wages of the creative and non-creative classes. For the creative class, wage is affected by employment characteristics, while that of non-creative class is related to personal characteristics. Forth, employment characteristics are significant determinants that affect the wage of every creative classes including super-creative class, creative professionals and art creative class. Fifth, factors influencing the wage are different by type of the creative class. For art creative class with relatively high professional autonomy, employment periods are important to explain the wage. For super-creative and creative professionals, which are professional but have relatively low professional autonomy, it was found that full-time position is critical factors that affect the wage.
