국내외 영양강화제 식품첨가물의 지정현황 및 연구현황

초록
Food additives, including fortifying nutrients, have standard specifications and usage standards established following the Korea Food Code. However, the designation status of food additives may vary from country to country due to differences in food culture and industrial characteristics. In this study, we reviewed the status of foreign food additive designation for 159 types of domestically permitted fortifying nutrients, and there were differences in countries such as Korea, CODEX, Japan, the United States, China, and Australia. In the case of food additives permitted in all surveyed countries or designated only domestically, there is a need to improve to more stringent standards. Based on research, it can be used to revise the food additive code. Furthermore, it is expected to contribute to the preliminary management of imported food additives, reduction of friction in trade, and development of the domestic food industry.
