초록

This study, utilized various newspapers as primary sources to clarify the activities of the PaiChai Football Team, which represented secondary school football during the Japanese colonial period in Korea. PaiChai won four consecutive titles in the All-Chosun Football Tournament (全朝鮮蹴球大會). Additionally, They won every Chosun Singung Competition (朝鮮 神宮競技大會) they participated in. Furthermore, PaiChai participated as a founding member of the Gyeongseong Secondary School Football Federation (京城中等蹴球聯盟), and they achieved multiple victories in the federation's sponsored football league matches. Moreover, PaiChai achieved notable results in the secondary school football tournaments organized by Boseong Vocational School (普成專門學校) and Keijo Imperial University Preparatory Department (京城帝大豫科). They also represented Korea and participated twice in the national secondary school Football tournaments held in Japan. Indeed, the PaiChai football team made significant contributions to the advancement and promotion of secondary school football during the Japanese colonial period by achieving outstanding results in various torunaments.
