초록

Purpose: The purposes of this study were to explore self leadership of nursing students and identify the factors affecting their self leadership. Methods: This study was a cross-sectional descriptive study. Participants were 2,059 nursing students who were in four 3-year nursing programs located in Metropolitan area participated in. The data were analyzed by SPSS 23.0 software using t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe-test, and Multiple Regression analysis. Results: The total self leadership score was 3.57. To investigate the factors affecting self leadership among nursing students, the age, participation in school club activities, satisfactions of college life, aptitude for nursing, and economic status factor were found as affecting factors. Conclusion: Therefore, in order to improve self leadership among nursing students. students are encouraged to join club activities in school. There are also needs to build more student-centered learning environment which results in high levels of student satisfaction and to initiate character education program such as self leadership program.
