｢후나벤케(船弁慶)｣를 통해서 본 노부미쓰(信光)의 사실적 표현 연구

초록

室町後期の能は世阿弥、禅竹時代とは異なる形態を追求したともいわれる。主人公(シテ)中心の演劇からワキ、そして狂言役も活躍できるように構成されたという点と、華やかな扮装や舞台装置、そして多数の登場人物が活躍するように仕組まれているという特徴がある。素材面においても龍神、鬼、蛇など異類を取り入れて、空想的でスペクタクルな世界を描いている。特に信光は中国の伝説も多用した。しかし、信光演劇の特徴としては、このような演劇構成の独特性にあるというより、人間の感情を気軽に表わす事実的な表現が目立つという点である。彼の代表的な作品である｢船弁慶｣には、静を義経から離そうとする弁慶に、その事実を直接確認しようとする静のセリフがある。また、船に乗って移動する場面では船主が弁慶に海上権を要求する場面もある。｢紅葉狩｣では、遊女の誘惑に導かれる維茂の姿が事実的に描かれている。エロティックなシーンとも言えるだろう。ところが同時代の禅鳳はこの場面を袖にむすぶ菊の香りという比喩的表現に止まっている。このように以前の演劇では見られない破格的な描写が信光にあった。ストーリーを中心に人間の感情と対立する心理描写を素直に表現したものが｢船弁慶｣であり｢紅葉狩｣である。さらに、船主によって演出されたオノマトペは舞台を聴覚から視覚に拡張する効果ももたらした。 It is said that Noh in the late Muromachi period pursued a form different from that of the Zeami and Zenchiku periods. In his most famous work, Funa Benkei, there is a line in which Benkei tries to separate Shizuka from Yoshitsune, but Shizuka tries to directly confirm that fact. There are also scenes where the ship owner demands maritime rights from Benkei when traveling on a ship. Momijigari realistically depicts Korishige being led by the temptation of a prostitute. It can also be called an erotic scene.　However, his contemporary Zenpo treated this scene as a metaphor for the scent of chrysanthemums on one’s sleeve. In this way, Nobumitsu had an extraordinary portrayal that had not been seen in previous plays. Funa Benkei and Momijigari are works that honestly express psychological depictions that conflict with human emotions, centering on the story. Furthermore, the onomatopoeia directed by the shipowner has the effect of expanding the stage from the auditory to the visual.
