한국기업의 대 베트남 해외직접투자가 수출유발효과와 무역보완효과에 미치는 영향

초록

This paper examined the effects of foreign direct investment on export inducement and trade complementary between Koran and Vietnam using PO LS and fixed effect model. The outward-FDI volume, no. of outward-FDI, in ward-FDI volume, no. of inward-FDI were as proxy for the foreign direct investment. The export volume to Vietnam, export portion to Vietnam, imp ort volume from Vietnam, and import portion from Vietnam were as proxy for the export inducement effect and trade complementary effect. Based o n the analysis of one hundred twenty monthly data, the following results w ere found. First, the outward-FDI volume have a positively significant influence on the export volume to Vietnam. Second, the no. of outward-FDI have a positively significant influence on the export volume and export portion to Vietnam. Third, the outward-FDI volume have a positively significant influence on the import volume from Vietnam. Fourth, the no. of outward-FDI have a positively significant influence on the import volume and import portion from Vietnam. Last, the inward-FD I volume and no. of inward-FDI don't have a significant influence on the ex port volume and export portion to Vietnam as well as on the import volume and import portion from Vietnam.
