Improving the Direction and Effectiveness of Movement Learning in Higher Dance Education:Focusing on the Learning Principles of Feldenkrais ATM Lessons

초록

This study aimed to explore the main learning principles inherent in Feldenkrais ATM lessons. Based on this, it sought to suggest the direction of ATM lessons as a movement learning method applicable to dance education in domestic universities and to enhance its educational effectiveness. For the study, literature was collected and analysed, focusing on domestic and international monographs, academic journals, and theses related to Feldenkrais ATM lessons. The results categorised the main learning principles of ATM lessons as ‘awareness through movement’, ‘sensory differentiation learning’, and ‘organic learning’. Furthermore, this study proposed that by applying these key learning principles of ATM lessons to higher dance education, the effectiveness of movement learning in ATM lessons can be enhanced by strengthening the directionality of ‘learning through discovering differences’, ‘learning through creative self-efficacy’, and ‘learning through self-regulation’, and by specifying corresponding objectives.
