대학강의의 질이 대학생의 학습성과에 미치는 영향 - 대학의 학생지원서비스의 조절효과를 중심으로 -

초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationships among lecture quality, learning outcomes, and student support services in Korean 4-your universities. Utilizing the data of 13,415 university students extracted from NASEL data set collected in 2015 by the KEDI, descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, moderating effect analysis were performed. Based on data analyses and subsequent discussion, we have drawn the following conclusions and recommendations. First, the quality of lectures appears to be all right due to relatively clear lesson goals, appropriate teaching-learning materials, and reasonable student assessment methods. However, special attention needs to be given to professor-students interaction to raise its quantity and quality. Second, custom-tailored measures are necessary as the levels of lecture quality, learning outcomes, and student support services are different depending on students’ as well as universities’ backgrounds. Finally, this study revealed the moderating effect of student support services which adjusts the influence of lecture quality upon learning outcomes. This implies that students support services need to be strengthened to benefit all students. This study shed light on the importance of lecture quality and student support services as variables affecting student learning outcomes. Subsequent studies were suggested to upgrade university teaching and learning by overcoming the limitations of the study.
