초록

The following three facts can be derived by intensively analyzing the Thunderstorm in the late poem of the expressionist poet Georg Trakl. First, Thunderstorm composed of 4 stanzas is similar to a tragedy composed of 4 acts. In the first stanza, the sign of the fall of the world is called the silence on the eve of the storm. In the second stanza, the signs of the catastrophe appear in several places. In the third stanza, a reversal of reaching existential awakening takes place in this desperate situation. In the fourth stanza, there is a scene where tears of catharsis are combined with feelings of fear and compassion. The narrative structure of this tragedy gives Trakl's Thunderstorm a tight dramatic tension. Second, the images and motifs appearing in Trakl's Thunderstorm are highly recursive. In his poems, motifs rotate in various contexts. Trakl uses the images and motifs used in one work in variations and uses it in other works as well. Therefore, the image he created to embody a specific motif can only be properly interpreted by comparing it with similar deformed images appearing in his other works.Third, the implications of Thunderstorm are often understood in context with other texts.
