인공지능교육과 유아교육에서 인공지능 활용에 대한 유치원 교사의 인식 연구

초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the perception of kindergarten teachers on the use of artificial intelligence in artificial intelligence education and early childhood education. For this purpose, a survey was conducted for about 4 weeks from March 14, 2022, to April 14, 2022, on 223 full-time teachers working at public and private kindergartens nationwide. The collected data were analyzed by frequency analysis and descriptive statistics analysis using SPSS 26.0 program. As a result of the study, first, kindergarten teachers recognized the necessity of artificial intelligence education, and the appropriate age for AI utilization and literacy education was recognized as 5 years old. The content of AI education was to teach what is necessary for daily life, and the teachers’ competence to teach is important and the resistance was low. Second, kindergarten teachers recognized that AI would change early childhood education, and expected it to be used in educational contents and individualized education plans that fit the interests and development levels of young children. Kindergarten teachers were highly interested in using and education of AI, but they perceived AI. education difficulty and were interested in related training. The results of this study are expected to contribute to suggesting the direction of early childhood AI education and exploring support measures for the use of AI in early childhood education.
