『이세모노가타리(伊勢物語)』를 소재로 한 젠치쿠(禅竹) 작품 고찰

초록

Zenchiku (禅竹) used the rhetoric of describing the protagonist using Waka as a theme. Representative works include “Kakitsubata”, “Oshio”, and “Unrinin”. These works are based on the interpretation of the Isemonogatari, but there are also differences in the way the main characters are portrayed using the same Waka. In other words, there is a passage that describes Ariwara no Narihira (在原業平) as an incarnated Buddha and a bodhisattva who will save humanity. There are also works that were only used as a tool to announce Narihira's arrival. It also copied the structure of Isemonogatari. Sometimes it was centered on color, sometimes it was based on a love song to express the protagonist's feelings, and sometimes it was centered around a place. It is also noteworthy that Zenchiku's ideas permeate each song. The circular structure and the idea of Sukshin can be found in the songs of “Kakitsubata”, “Oshio”, and “Teika”. This is not Zenchik's thought, but it is believed that he inherited the ideas of Zeami and further was influenced by Buddhist and Shintoist thoughts at the time. This is not a characteristic of Zenchiku, but a reflection of medieval thought.
