초록
Since the Heian period, there has been scattered evidence of attempts to classify Waka and their values. To explain the implications of each of the poem types, this study will classify nine or ten types of poems. Some of the poem types in this study are known as: Waka, Kinto, Tadamine and Tosiyori among others. Teika, a representative poet during the middle ages, also attempted to classify waka. Exposing one’s situations or agony is illustrated by the content of Saigyo’s songs In this manner, this paper finds different perspectives on the same shape of poems depending on the stream of time or the situations that the poets were in. However, the classification method for ten shapes of poems is still found with a similar attitude and mindset. However, it still finds the same attitude toward
