문학과 발레의 상호텍스트성: 『롤리타』와 『잠자는 미녀』의 경우

초록

This paper tries to find out the method of communication between the novel “Lolita” and the ballet “The Sleeping beauty” by comparing and analyzing them. For the comparison of the literal description method in the “Lolita” and the storytelling technique appearing in the ballet “The Sleeping Beauty”, the main motive shared by the two works was studied. Specifically, the small topics such as “magic’s space and time” and “metaphor of the rose” were discussed and in each chapter, the study was made focused on the linguistic and rhetorical techniques realized by the authors of the literary works or the meaning of the text exposed by the physical language in the ballet work and other small parts of the works. This study ultimately handles the methodology trying to find a new method in the criticism and interpretation of art text through the understanding of the mutual conversation mechanisms by which the literature or ballet ultimately tries to communicate. As this methodology can be applied to other works other than those handled in the study, it is considered to be critical in understanding the paradigm in the study of contemporary literature.
