인터넷신문의 긍⋅부정 평가 요인이 신뢰도와 지속적 이용 의도에 미치는 영향

초록

This study focuses on Internet newspapers, which have grown to account for 78.7% of all registered newspapers, but have received relatively little academic attention compared to traditional paper newspapers, portal news services, and SNS news. This study examined the effects of Internet newspapers usage and engagement, as well as variables related to positive and negative evaluations of Internet newspapers, on reliability, perceived usefulness, perceived risk, and continuous use intention of Internet newspapers among news consumers in their 20s and 30s. The analysis results showed that, first, Internet newspapers usage had a positive effect on the reliability of Internet newspapers. Second, the variables related to positive evaluation of Internet newspapers, namely accuracy and diversity, social agenda-setting function, monitoring and criticism function, and autonomy function, all had a positive effect on Internet newspapers reliability. Third, only the conflict bias factor had a positive effect on perceived risk and a negative effect on the reliability of Internet newspapers among the variables related to negative evaluation of Internet newspapers. Fourth, Internet newspapers reliability and perceived usefulness had a positive effect on continuous use intention of Internet newspapers, whereas perceived risk had a negative effect.This study is significant in that it examines the impact of various evaluations of Internet newspapers on their reliability and continuous use intention of Internet newspapers by news consumers in their 20s and 30s, and explores the possibility of improving and developing Internet newspapers in the future.
