성인 모색기 청년의 공통성과 이질성에 대한 다각적 이해

초록

This study aims to understand commonality and heterogeneity during emerging adulthood from multiple perspectives. The life course perspective provides an understanding of common developmental characteristics and tasks during emerging adulthood. Emerging adulthood is the period that they should develop explore self-identity in love, work, and worldviews, focus on themselves, and seek for independent lives, while they are unstable and do not make sure that they are adults. Generation discourse presents how society defines the common features of youth generation, describing them as the unfortunate and self-centered generation. Statistical research presents the precariousness of emerging adulthood, pointing out that youth precarious trajectories are heterogeneous. The life course perspective emphasizes that we should understand heterogeneous experiences of disadvantaged youth such as homeless youth, youth of public assistance recipients, and technical high school students during emerging adulthood.
