초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the difference and its impact of university students' personal characteristics on self-leadership, career decision-making self-efficacy, career preparation behavior, and employability. 481 students were selected to participate for the survey and information on their demographic and employment preparation characteristics as well as their participation characteristics of career education and employment support programs were examined in order to use as the personal characteristic variable. Study findings are as follows. First, among the personal characteristic variables, students' major satisfaction, GPA, english level, employment preparation, leader experience, and counseling participation experience made difference and had impact on self-leadership. Second, students' gender, university location, major satisfaction, english level, employment preparation, and job experience made difference and had impact on career decision-making self-efficacy. Third, students' school years, university satisfaction, and employment preparation made difference and impact on career preparation behavior. Fourth, students' gender only made difference and had impact on employability. Lastly, the influencing variables on the career preparation behavior were in order of career decision-making self-efficacy, self-leadership, employment preparation, school years, university location, and university satisfaction. Also, influencing variables on employability were in order of career decision-making self-efficacy, self-leadership, gender, and participation experience in job search engine(homepage). Based on the above study findings, theoretical and practical implications were suggested in order to facilitate university students' career path and employment preparation.
