초록

This study presents a novel method for fabricating nickel (Ni) nanotubes, addressing the limitations of conventional techniques that typically use anodized aluminum oxide (AAO) or polycarbonate (PC) templates. Instead of these complex processes, photoresist-derived electrospun nanofibers were utilized as isotropic templates, on which Ni was deposited via a simple electroless plating method. The challenge of electroless deposition on nanostructures due to superhydrophobicity was overcome through ultraviolet (UV) treatment, eliminating the need for surface activation by Sn or Pd nuclei. The polymer nanofibers were then thermally decomposed at 700 degrees C, and the Ni nanotubes maintained their structure even after heat treatment at 1200 degrees C. This innovative approach offers a cost-effective and straightforward method for Ni nanotube fabrication, with potential applications in memory devices, sensors, and catalyst systems.
