유학생을 위한 대학 교양 글쓰기 교재 개발 연구 -『외국인을 위한 대학 글쓰기』(2021)의 편찬 사례를 중심으로-

초록

This study introduces the development process and achievements of writing textbooks for international students developed at C University. C University began developing writing textbooks for international students to be used in the common liberal arts ‘Writing’ from 2021. It was aimed at including the identity of ‘Writing’ as a common culture while making use of the uniqueness of being an international student. The textbook should be made so that there is no big gap with the course objectives and contents of the ‘Writing’ subject of domestic students, and the emphasis was placed on supplementing examples and practice problems suitable for international students while accepting the structure of the existing『 Writing Book』. The completed『 University Writing for Foreigners』textbook was used in both non-face-to-face and face-to-face classes over a total of 4 semesters from 2021 to 2022. As a result of a survey of international students using textbooks, meaningful results were derived from satisfaction with the textbooks.
