초록
The purpose of this study is to provide basic data on the importance of indoor air management through a cognitive survey on dance majors using dance education spaces about indoor air quality, while there is increasing interest in indoor air. In order to accomplish the purpose of the study, a questionnaire survey was conducted on 105 dance majors who have been using dance education spaces for a number of years to understand their characteristics, and four of them were interviewed in depth. The study period was from June 2018 to February 2019, which was when the problem became conscious, and the results are as follows. First, the results of the questionnaire survey showed that most of them recognized dust and carbon dioxide regarding indoor pollutants in dance education spaces and perceived that there was a lot of dust. Second, as the outcome of the in-depth interviews, which were identical with the outcome of the pollutant questionnaire on indoor air quality in dance education space, they were aware of fine dust and carbon dioxide and felt the discomfort of their respiratory systems. In order to solve this problem, they relied on temporary relief methods, for example, drinking beverages such as water and getting out in the air. Therefore, in order to improve dance majors’ health, it seems that it is necessary to pay attention to the indoor air pollutants in dance education spaces and to conduct more accurate and realistic studies reflecting various factors such as seasonal characteristics, density of users, and ventilation systems.
