과학 탐구 경험을 통한 노랫말 바꾸기 활동이 유아의 과학적 탐구능력 및 창의성에 미치는 영향

초록

This purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of lyrics-changing activity through scientific inquiry experience on children’s scientific inquiry ability and creativity. The subjects of this research are 52 young children (27 boys and 25 girls) aged 5, from G kindergarten located in C city of the Chung Cheong nam province, with the experimental group of 26 young children, and the control group of 26 young children. To verify the effects of lyrics-changing activities through scientific inquiry experience on young children’s scientific inquiry ability and creativity, the data gained from the pre-test and post-test were analyzed by SPSS Statistics 22.0 for 32-bit Windows and t-tests were used to measure significance. The results of this research are summarized as follows. First, the lyrics-changing activity through scientific inquiry experience had a positive effect on children’s scientific inquiry ability. Second, the lyrics-changing activity through scientific inquiry experience had a positive effect on children’s creativity. The results of this study suggest that lyrics-changing activity through scientific inquiry experiences may be used as a proper and meaningful teaching-learning method to enhance children’s scientific inquiry ability and creativity. Therefore, it is necessary to progress lyrics-changing activities actively through scientific inquiry experiences in early childhood education.
