초록
The goal of this paper was to investigate how the perceived difficulty changed by visual illusion affects Fitts’ tapping performance. Ten right-handed male undergraduate students who have normal or corrective vision performed verbal judgement task, judgement motor task, discrete motor task, and continuous motor task. The tasks were examined by created Inverted-T figure which was separated with three different indexes of difficulty(5cm, 10cm, 20cm). The perception whether the participants judged of the visual illusion were examined. Also, judgement distance and movement time were measured by experiment. Collected Data were analyzed with 2X3 ANOVA with repeated measures on both factors. The result shows that all participants perceived the illusion on the inverted-T figure perception tasks. Moreover, participants judged the vertical line longer than the horizontal line. For the discrete motor task, motor performance of tapping tasks were not changed by perceived visual illusion. For the continuous motor task, on the other hand, motor performance of tapping tasks were affected by perceived visual illusion. Thus, the result suggests that the visual illusion by perceived index of difficulty affects movement, however, and motor performance can be differentiated by the types of motor task and information processing.
