20세기 동아시아 국제주의 문학의 ‘철필(鐵筆)’ -김학철론-

The Iron-pen of International Literature on 20East–Asia -Study about Kim Hak-cheol-

초록

Kim Hak-cheol’s literary space is characterized by Hwarogang in China, Taehangsan in China, and two prisons:(Nakasaki prison and Chrigu prisom. Kim reached a node of modern history and stood at the center of East Asian literature, through Hogajang battle. Kim’s litreature work involved the epic writing of East Asian history of the 20th century from the people’s viewpoint. In light of the 20th-century East Asian history, Kim’s international solidarity against international conflicts is worth paying attention to. Kim’s literature is meaningful in that the people’s memory epics and the official recording of history conflict with each other. Kim’s literature, based on the spatial experience, pursued the memory of life in the collective official records. His literature thus moved to dismantle the tradition of anti-Japanese revolutionary literature, improperly monopolized by North Korea. North Korea described the tradition of anti-Japanese revolutionary literature as an exclusively Kim Il Sung-oriented exclusive history. Kim’s Gyeokjeongsidae (Turbulent Times) and Hangjeonbyeolgok (Ode to Resistance Battle) diversified the tradition of A anti-Japanese battle based on the spatial hub of Hwarogang and Taehangsan. Also his prison experience also reinforced the resistance to idolization from the people’s viewpoint. Kim Hak-cheol’s literary imagination of Hwarogang, Taehangsan, and prisons, in a broader sense, is the literary record that expanded the 20th-century South and North Korean literary of literature into the East Asian’s literary of literature. In term of time as well, it is a fact-based ample literary testimony to South and North Korea’s history of literature in the 1930s to 1940s. At the center of such history, Kim Hak-cheol’s bitter epic bitter, and his people viewpoint stand tall as the historical clock of the 20th century.
